Looking for Love in ALL the Wrong Places

Often, what we are looking for is right in front of our eyes. Some of us will spend most of our time looking for the 'perfect' one to connect with. We look for the perfect husband, the perfect wife, the perfect job, the perfect church, or the perfect friendship, all the while trying to make ourselves look perfect in the process.

It's interesting how we will employ ourselves at the Detective Agency of Life to look for what God has already made available. As Valentine's Day approaches this week, many will be disappointed for not receiving the flowers, chocolates, calls, posts, texts, or dining invitations they anticipated. For some, although not spoken audibly, the lack of these gestures will be taken as rejection, being invaluable, or not feeling worthy. For others, this will trigger an emotional downward spiral.

Dear readers, an enemy is banking on us to waste time looking for love in all the wrong places. Please be reminded and encouraged that the perfect love we seek has always been there. He, yes, He is ever present, and His love endures forever!
